Extension of Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme 2026 for Stamp Duty
June 29, 2026
We are writing to inform you of an upcoming change to our international network affiliation. RSM Malaysia PLT, together with its related entities, has given formal notice of its decision to withdraw from the RSM International network. Our membership will formally cease on 24 May 2026.
During this transition period, we are working closely with RSM International to support a smooth and orderly transition, with a continued focus on uninterrupted service for our clients. Until 24 May 2026, we will continue to operate as a member firm of RSM in Malaysia, and all existing obligations remain unchanged.
This is a strategic decision relating solely to network affiliation. It does not affect our firm's legal entity, ownership, leadership, professional standing, or regulatory status in Malaysia. Effective 25 May 2026, we will operate under a new name, which will be announced in due course.
There will be no interruption to the services we provide to you. Your engagement team will remain unchanged, other than routine partner or staff rotations undertaken in the ordinary course to meet quality, independence, and risk management requirements. There is no change to the scope, timing, or delivery of our services, and all audit, tax, and advisory work currently in progress will continue as usual.
We continue to comply with all applicable Malaysian laws, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. Our quality management framework and professional responsibilities remain firmly in place throughout the transition period.
We will communicate further updates proactively and in a timely manner throughout the transition period.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your usual engagement partner or me directly. We value the trust you place in us and remain fully committed to supporting your organisation and working closely with your management and team.
Yours sincerely,
Dato' Robert Teo
Managing Partner
